Dr. Aaron Schwaab, Stoughton Hospital Board Certified General Surgeon, is providing free skin screenings to the public. Skin screenings can detect melanoma and other skin cancers early, when they are easiest to treat.
This screening is open to anyone, regardless of insurance.

Thank A Lineworker Coloring Contest

Evansville Water & Light Celebrates National Lineworker Appreciation Day with Coloring Contest

City of Evansville is inviting children ages 4-12  to participate in the Thank-A-Lineman Kids Coloring Contest in celebration of National Lineworker Appreciation Day on April 18, 2019. Those who enter have a chance to win $25 per age group with a grand prize winner of $50 for showing off their artistic abilities. Deadline for entry is April 12th 2019.

The coloring contest runs until April 12th  to raise awareness and show appreciation to the local utility’s line crew. One of the benefits of a locally owned, not-for-profit utility, like Evansville Water & Light, is a dedicated, hometown line crew ready to respond quickly when issues arise. 

The entry form with contest details and coloring page can be found on Evansville's website at http://www.ci.evansville.wi.gov/services_by_department/municipal_utility/notices.php or can be picked up at the utility office at 31 S Madison Street Monday - Friday from 7:30am - 4:30pm.

On Friday, April 12th we’ll have a special Family Fun Night booth at Evansville’s AWARE “Week of the Young Child” Family Fun Night. This event will be held from 5:30—7:30 pm in the Field House at the Evansville Community School District's Grove Campus (320 Fair St, Evansville, WI)

This event is FREE, open to everyone and will include games, face painting, animals, eye-testing, crafts, sing-alongs, sports, planting seeds, a bounce house, and more fun for kids of all ages! Concessions will also be available.
