Communities Talk Art Gala: Not Everyone Is Doing It

Join us for a NEW event about underage drinking prevention—#CommunitiesTalk! This is a FREE community event, and is an open house. Doors open at 5 PM.

We know 84% of students in Evansville reported that they were not binge drinking and 85% of students in Evansville reported they think underage drinking is harmful. So lets debunk the norm of "everyone is doing it" because the truth is: Not Everyone is Doing it. If not "everyone is doing it":  What are they doing? Why aren't they doing it? This open house will showcase art work by the Evansville High School art students through various mediums highlighting the theme of "Not Everyone is Doing it".

An artist's work will be selected by a panel judges to be featured on a community billboard as a celebration of their hard work over the semester. The winning piece will be announced at 6:30 PM.

Light refreshments will also be provided.

Family Fun Night

Family Fun Night

This is a fun, family event! Everyone is welcome and there is no charge to participate. The evening will begin at 6 pm with a child-friendly dinner followed by a variety of activities. We’ll be taking family nativity pictures where costumes of angels, wise men, shepherds, and all types of animals such as lambs, donkeys, sheep, and more are available for family members to wear. Children can also decorate Christmas cookies and do a Christmas craft! Children must be accompanied by an adult. Reservations are appreciated, but not required.
