Sonya Tourdot, Pampered Chef
Hometown: I grew up outside of Marxville, near Mazomanie, then in 1975, I worked & moved to Middleton, then Stoughton and for the past 37 years, I live just outside of Belleville!
Hobbies: I love to sing, ran our own Karaoke/DJ Service for over 16 years and have been bowling in leagues for many years and enjoy going to tournaments and events with friends.
Favorite Food: Where do I start with my favorite foods? Anything chocolate, but love to bake and learning more fun recipes since I started with my Pampered Chef business - I am not a "perfect chef" but I do love pampering friends!
The Farthest place you've ever traveled: The farthest place I believe I have traveled is probably Baton Rouge LA, I love to travel but usually only have traveled if it involves a bowling tournament or a conference. I want to do more!
If you were stranded on a desert island what three things would you take with you: This is hard but I guess a frying pan, a lighter and sunglasses....to make sure I can prepare some food, start a fire to keep warm or cook and sunglasses to protect my eyes!
What is the first concert you ever attended: I believe the first concert I ever went to was probably Richard & Karen Carpenter at the Coliseum in Madison back in the late 70's
Family: My husband Jon and I live in Belleville and we have a 7-year-old rescue dog named Sheldon. I also have a daughter, Jessica (her husband is Damian) and she has 2 kids Regan (13) and Roman (10) who live just outside of New Glarus.
What movie title best describes your life: Best movie title is hard to say when I haven't seen a lot of movies, but I love "love stories" and "comedies"
Favorite Quote: One I recently heard but not sure who came up with this: I Can, I Will, Watch Me - it makes me go for more!
If people really knew me, they'd know: If people really knew me they would say I am always happy and have no worries, but I do try to hide sadness that I have in my heart and be positive at all times.
What is something you have been meaning to try: I have done many things in my "62" years but I would love to take a photography class and do more singing.
