The Wisconsin Economic Development Association, in collaboration with a diverse group of stakeholders throughout WI, is requesting participation in their statewide Community Reinvestment Act Survey – which is gathering information about the needs and opportunities of organizations serving low-and moderate-income households. The survey’s results will be analyzed and made publicly available through an online portal as a tool to assist in program, policy and funding decisions.

Eager Free Library Looking for Business Participants in Downtown Story Walk

The Eager Free Public Library will be sponsoring a downtown story walk this holiday season and we are looking for businesses to participate! Starting with the Olde Fashioned Christmas celebration (November 20-21) we will feature the story The Polar Express by Chris Van Allsburg in the windows of downtown businesses. Families can read the story page by page as they do their holiday shopping downtown. Hopefully, it will be a fun family activity that folks can enjoy while following COVID safety precautions and supporting local businesses!
Each participating business will receive a page spread that is about 3 feet by 2 feet to post in their window. The library will make the page posters and provide a walking route to families to follow. New, as well as established, WI businesses may enter one of the following innovation categories for a chance to win more than $60,000 in grant funding to offset COVID-related costs incurred between March 1 and those costs anticipated by the end of the year.
