The safety signage placed in and around ECSD Schools and the District Office was made by the EHS Technology Education Department on our new large-format, digital printer, which was purchased through last year's referendum process and is now a part of our state-of-the-art STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math)Lab  The lab also includes equipment for laser printing/engraving, and 3-D Printing.

We were able to print the signage in-house on professional-grade material at approximately one third of the cost of ordering them through distributors!  These and many other projects, made possible by community support through the referendum, combine real-world problem-solving with project-based learning across many disciplines, which is how our students learn best!

To show our gratitude towards the community for their constant support of our schools, we would like to extend the offer of printing any COVID-related or other safety signage for businesses and community organizations for them at the cost of materials.  We are aware that purchasing this type of product in lower quantities would typically mean paying much higher costs.  I'd also extend the same offer in related to banners or other similar types of flexible signage.
