AWARE in Evansville is a grassroots program which serves low-income families, seniors and disabled adults who reside in the Evansville community. Services include Snackpackers weekly food distribution to students, emergency rental/utility/prescription assistance, Toys for Evansville and Easter holiday meal/toy/clothing programs, Drivers Education Scholarships, School Supplies, Koats for Kids, Swim Lessons and Passes, Week of the Young Child events, Refuse 2 Bruise teen dating violence prevention and more.

Evansville Jays Home Talent Baseball Club

Play Competitive Baseball, or Enjoy Watching Baseball at Lake Leota Park. The Evansville Jays Home Talent Baseball Club provides an opportunity for Evansville area residents to play competitive amateur baseball. The club also provides free entertainment in the form of baseball games for the community on Sunday afternoons and Thursday nights during the summer months. The club continues to work towards making improvements to Lake Leota Park for the enjoyment of all area residents.
