Visit historic Evansville, Wisconsin. Two, first floor side-by-side suites with queen beds and queen sofa sleepers are available. Each suite is fully equipped with all amenities for a single night stay or an extended visit. Internet service and smart TVs in both sitting areas and bedrooms. Each suite has a private bath. One suite is equipped with full size washer/dryer, full kitchen (sink, stove, dishwasher, microwave and refrigerator). One suite has refrigerator, sink, a two burner cooktop, and microwave.
Evansville is centrally located in Southern Wisconsin, a short 24 miles from downtown Madison and the University of Wisconsin, 20 miles from Janesville, 25 minutes from Monroe Wisconsin and the historic Swiss village of New Glarus. Evansville is home to several wonderful vintage stores, The Vintage Roost, 100 Proof Design, and Vintage Charm clothing store. The Night
Owl, Pete’s Inn, and the recently debuting Grove Market are all within walking distance of your stay. Take time for a famous Wisconsin Friday night fish fry in the area or laze with a cup of coffee and homemade triple chocolate scone at the Grove Market. Stroll down Main Street and take a walking tour of Evansville’s varied architectural homes, Or relax in the newly restored historic Eager Free Public Library with a good book and learn about the city’s history. The Night Owl hosts Trivia on Thursday evening, Pete’s throws a great meat raffle on Thursday afternoons, and Creekside Place hosts a Cruise Night the first Thursday of the month, May through September. Lake Leota Park is within walking distance with fishing, picnic areas, swimming pool, Frisbee golf, playground equipment and ball diamonds. Evansville Country Club, a public course, offers 18 holes of challenging golf during the season. Rock and Green counties have wonderful bike trails and backroads for relaxing motorcycle rides.
