The Evansville Chamber of Commerce & Tourism is served by a 12 person volunteer board. The board works diligently and donates many hours providing strategic planning, budget oversight and serving on many committees planning member benefits, activities and community events.
Introducing Chamber Board Vice President Rachel Kleven

Role at Company: Rachel wears many hats but is primarily responsible for the day to day Operations and Marketing of the Financial Advisory Department at State Bank of Cross Plains.
Current Role at the Chamber: Vice President, Rachel has been on the Chamber Board since 2015. She also heads up the Chairman’s Club and is very active in the planning and implementation of Ladies Night Out and the Chamber Golf Outing each year.
How long have you been a Chamber member? Since 2014.
Why Do You Participate in the Chamber: I love our small town of Evansville and being involved in the Chamber is a wonderful way to support and strengthen our business community. This not only benefits the economic growth but helps make it a place where people want to live and raise a family!
Favorite thing about being a chamber member? Volunteering at the events I am involved in and interacting with the people in our community.
What is your greatest fear? Outliving my children or husband.
What is something you learned recently? The benefits of Long Term Care Insurance as a company sponsored benefit (I just completed 24 hours of CE) lol.
What is the first concert you attended? New Kids On The Block.
How do you balance your career and family? Family first always! I am blessed to work for a company that shares that sentiment.
Personal Bio:
Rachel joined State Bank of Cross Plains in 2019 after SBCP and Union Bank & Trust Company joined forces. She has been in the Financial Services Industry since 2006 and in Customer Service Management for over 20 years. She is a Licensed Insurance Agent and a Financial Paraplanner Qualified Professional™.
Rachel is dedicated to providing exceptional service to our clients. She takes pride in making sure each client's goals are her top priority. She cultivates and strengthens third party relationships with other reputable businesses making SBCP- Financial Services a well-rounded company offering a wide variety of services.
Rachel received the 2011 SII Investments Administrative Professional of the Year Award, was a SHARE Council member, sits on many boards and is extremely active in her community! She works primarily out of the Evansville, WI office which is where she and her family currently reside.
