The Wisconsin Department of Health Services (DHS) has released new guidance for preventing and managing COVID-19 outbreaks in the workplace. The document includes a workplace outbreak checklist and sections on keeping a business running while keeping workers and customers safe, working with local and tribal health departments, best practices for testing, what to do when an employee tests positive, and when an employee can safely return to work. They have also released an employee hand-out with information about what to do if you were exposed, where to get help with insurance, medical, mental health support, and other needs, how to get health care as a migrant worker, and what to do if you don’t feel safe. Both of these documents can be found on the DHS website or you can use the links below.
